Night tours in Costa Rica are without a doubt a unique experience. We all know the forest during the day but when night falls, the forest awakens to a whole new and different life for different animals, whose whole center of life is in complete darkness.

The night tours are accompanied by experienced guides and last about an hour and a half or more. Insects, reptiles, old birds and other amazing phenomena will greet us during the tour. In Costa Rica, we can do this activity in almost any area when even on particularly rainy days, the experience often intensifies and the amount of animals we see will increase.

In Costa Rica, when walking in the woods, it is always advisable to wear closed shoes when on night tours the recommendation becomes much more relevant in order to avoid “surprises” during the tour.
